This pretty brooch is vintage circa 1940s. It is fashioned from gold plated metal and is set with clear and sapphire blue rhinestones. The watch face reads FAIRFAX and runs fine. The brooch measures 3 1/16 x 1 3/4 inches. The overall condition is very good but some of the clear stones have turned dark and the gold plating is worn in a few places so has a silver cast to the metal. I do not wish to replace these stones as I like the original look and the muted gold tone of the brooch looks fine to me.
