1/2 Inch Square Garnet Brooch

This charming Victorian brooch is made from the beautiful deep wine red garnets of times gone by and what looks like silver with a little bit of gold overlay. It measures 1/2 inch square and is in very good condition. I do not know if this piece was intended for a young girl in its time, but it would be very suitable for this or for someone who appreciates delicate jewelry.
