These whimsical fish pins are vintage circa 1930s. I think they are fashioned from either wood or chalk. They're very light weight and crudely made but very charming anyway. The fish detailing on the front looks like it's applied with either paint or a decale and the blue fins are felt. The front of each pin has "age" spots on it that do not come off with water, these can be seen in the picture. The larger pin measures 1 7/8 X 2 inches and the smaller measures 1 1/4 X 1 1/4 inches. Other than what I have mentioned the pins have no problems. The color of the pins on the front is actually lighter than what the picture shows.
