This really pretty brooch is vintage circa 1960s. It’s designed and made by the famous Trifari. The brooch is painted enamel with gold plating and rhinestones. There's lovely detail and color shading which was hard to capture in my pictures. It measures 3 X 1 inches and the condition is very good. There is some very slight enamel chipping which you can see in the pictures, otherwise no problems. This brooch looks like one of Trifari's 1940's pieces but when you look at the back you see the finish looks like there 1960's work. The two "dots" near the parrot's tail are two tiny screws where the tail and the body are connected.
