This pretty large butterfly brooch is vintage circa 1940s. It's fashioned from sterling silver and measures 3 X 1 1/2 inches. It's stamped "sterling" on the back and it appears to me that the brooch is handmade or at least the designs on it are hand done. The condition is very good and it has been polished but not a lot.
