This pretty evening bag is vintage circa 1940s/50s. The frame and handle are fashioned from sterling silver and the body of the bag is made of needle point. The lining is black paterned silk and there is no makers lable. The frame is marked inside "Sterling Silver 935". The design on the front of the frame looks like a forest with deer and buck, the back side is a star like design and the inside of the frame is gold plated. This bag measures 7 X 5 X 1 1/2 inches and the handle measures 12 inches long.
