This gorgious ring has a 18k white gold mounting which is circa 1960s. The ruby is newly mounted in the center. The mounting is marked 18k Jabel. There are eight round single cut diamonds that average 1.20mm each for a total weight of .08ct. They average VS in clarity and G in color. The ruby is oval mixed cut. It is SI2 in clarity and has a good deep red/pink color. It weighs 1.37 ct but since it was mounted when the appraisal was done it was measured rather than weighed and measures 1.27 ct. It has good polish and symmetry. This ring is a size 7 and the top section measures 3/4 X 1/2 inches. The ring rises 7mm up off the top of your finger. This piece is in great condition.
