This great little shoulder bag is circa 1990s. It is made by the fine purse maker Jay Herbert. For those who are not familiar with this name, his bags are made with the same fine kidskin leather, workmanship and look as the Chanel leather bags and were carried by Saks 5th Ave, and were part of thier expensive, quality line of bag. This purse is true red in color measures 6 1/2 X 3 1/4 X 2 1/2 inches and the strap is another 44 inches in length. There is a strap across the back which looks like you could slip your belt through it, it opens 2 1/4 inches. The bag is in great condition inside and out and it looks new. The lining is a combination of red leather and black silk.
