This very nice bead necklace is vintage circa 1920s. It is fashioned from black glass faceted beads of various shapes and sizes. The necklace is a combination of 3mm to 10mm round, and long 3/4 X 1/4 inch beads. Its opera length, measuring 66 inches long and it is crudely knotted between the beads. Some beads have small chips and scratches but you really have to look closely to find them. There also appears to be one place where the strand was split and repaired with a piece of brown thread, again you have to search to find this. This is a neat Art Deco period "rope".
