This beautiful brooch is antique from the Art Nouveau period, late 1800s, early 1900s. It’s fashioned from 14k yellow gold (it looks like 18k or 22k in color), and has a carved coral cameo and three seed pearls. The woman in the cameo is lovely and well carved. There are two tiny holes (see pictures) near her ears which makes me think she may have had an earring at some time in the past. The brooch measures 1 1/2 X 1 1/16 inches. The coral is a lovely two color piece and the overall condition is very good. This piece weighs 5.8 grams.
