This neat looking bangle is vintage circa 1940s or 1950s, although it has a more contemporary look. It is fashioned from French ivory, better known as celluloid or some form of plastic. Usually celluloid or non bakelite plastics are molded, however this one is carved. It measures 1/2 inch wide and has the usual 2 1/2 inch across opening.
