I am uncertain of the actual age of this interesting hat pin holder but I am guessing it could be as old as the Victorian period or as recent as the 1930s. It is fashioned from ebony and is marked as such on the bottom. It measures 3 3/4 inches long and the base is 2 1/8 inches in diameter. The bottom section screws off and it is lined in cork. The condition is very good with no problems.
