This really nice bakelite bangle is vintage circa 1940s. It is chocolate brown in color and is nicely carved all the way around the outside. It measures 1 inch wide and 2 1/2 inches across the opening. The bangle has two inside chips, one is extremely tiny and does not go through to the outer side and the other does go through and measures about 3 X 2mm on the outside and 6mm X 3mm on the inside. It's where the carving ends on the side and looks like part of the design when you're wearing the bangle. See the pictures. Other than the mentioned items this bangle is in very good condition.
