These pretty earrings are vintage circa 1940s or 1950s. They are fashioned from 14kt yellow gold and are set with large pear shaped amethysts. The earrings measure 1 1/2 x 5/8 inches, the amethysts measure 1/2 x 3/8 inches and the color is a nice rich purple. The earrings have fish hook style ear pieces. The overall weight is 11.6 grams and the condition is very good. There are no makers marks on the earrings.
