This beautiful necklace is vintage circa 1920s or 1930s. It is fashioned from faceted cherry amber beads that range from about 7mm up to about 30mm. It is a little hard to measure the beads in this way as they are oval and not round, but I am close.

The necklace measures 26 inches long and it has a screw type clasp. As you can see in the pictures, the clasp doesn't exactly meet in the middle, it does however work very well and keeps the necklace closed.

The beads are strung on what looks like silk and they do not have knots be between.The amber is beautiful and has no problems.
